Last week I wrote about the first of three general steps to every business transaction. Now that you’ve completed the preparation process, you’re ready to generate some revenue! The Execution step is where that happens.
You’ve done a great job of creating a relationship and setting expectations already. Now it’s time to walk the talk. Your client or customer chose you for their business. You’re the one taking their hard earned dollar in exchange for what you’ve presented as beneficial to them. You better pull it off! You need to make sure your people and process are ready to create an experience so powerful you get as many referrals as one person can provide.
People are important because they’re an extension of yourself. When you’re creating your team, don’t just look for someone who can perform at a high level but someone who can represent your brand properly. You’ve created an expectation so you need consistency.
You need to verify your systems are constantly working at a high level too. Your operations needs to always be up-to-date with your industry. If for whatever reason something goes wrong, you must have a back-up plan in place too. Your contingency policies and ability to problem solve will help you make sure you always Execute any transaction at the highest possible level!
